Dr Justine Hextall
Dr Justine Hextall is a Consultant Dermatologist and Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. She trained for five years at St Johns Institute of Dermatology before taking up a south coast consultancy at University Hospital Sussex. She held an honorary consultant post at St John’s specialising in skin lupus for 5 years. Her areas of specialist interests include the management of skin cancers – she has chaired the regional specialist skin cancer group for three years and has been a member of the BAD skin cancer committee for 4 years. She is s dermatological surgeon specialising in facial skin cancer surgery and is an expert in dermatological aspects of connective tissue disease. She is also experienced in Paediatric Dermatology.
Dr Hextall is a key opinion leader in the field of aesthetic dermatology and is widely published. Her approach in this area is to combine the best of aesthetic innovation with a fundamental understanding of dermatology.
Dr Emma Tilley
Dr Emma Tilley qualified in 1988 from St Bartholomew’s Hospital London. She developed a special interest in Dermatology during her general practise career. She subsequently went on to obtain the post graduate Diploma in Clinical Dermatology from the University of London in 2006. She has thoroughly enjoyed working alongside Dr Hextall within a regular skin cancer clinic at Worthing and St Richards for over 20 years where she continued to enhance her knowledge and experience within this field and developed a fantastic education partnership.
She has a vast experience in all aspects of clinical dermatology and has been performing skin surgeries for the last 12 years.
Dr Tilley joined Tarrant Street Clinic in 2023 and works Thursdays, Fridays, and some Saturdays.
She is known for her caring and approachable nature and expertise in clinical skin conditions and skin cancers.
Dr Alice Boyd
Dr Alice Boyd qualified from the University of Liverpool in 2004. Her interest in dermatology developed while working as a junior doctor in a large dermatology department in Brisbane, Australia, where she gained valuable exposure to a broad range of skin conditions.
On returning to the UK, she completed her General Practice training and went on to obtain a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology. She subsequently worked alongside Dr Hextall at Worthing Hospital, gaining significant experience in skin cancer diagnosis and treatment and expertise in all aspects of clinical dermatology.
Dr Hextall invited Dr Boyd to join the Tarrant Street Clinic in 2024, and she has been a valuable member of the team since then working Thursdays and some Saturdays.
She is known for her calm, approachable manner, her expertise in skin conditions and skin cancers and her dedication to achieving the highest standards of patient care.
